• The site was working up until I published an update on the homepage, reviewed it and it was fine. I noticed that the menu link did not have the url pointing to the homepage. I was looking through the admin dashboard to find the main menus, when I all of a sudden could not do anything and the site no longer displayed properly.

This is what the site looks like:

  • Looks like you done something to the site URLs on the general settings page by adding ‘home’ to that.

Here’s some instructions to help you with that https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL .

I don’t understand how to fix it. where do I find this on the site as it is? I am logged in. but not seeing where the php files would be.

Can someone help because when I try to login to haveacandle.com/admin it doesn’t recognize that page anymore. How do I get to the area to fix it. Do I down load WP? I have never done that before.

Since it is after the fact do I need to get on the server to do this? I am trying to get access now. My sisters son did the work and he is available to help so I am trying to help her.

The best thing to do is to ask technical support to your hosting and let it be fixed.

the host doesn’t do fixes to WP sites. I am at their admin panel and see the php but not seeing wp-config.php anywhere.
    I found this:
    wp_wfConfig
    Columns Columns
    Indexes Indexes

nothing that says in the suggested url https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL
If someone could help me with where to look. I don’t have php on my new laptop. Can I do it in firefox browser? It has been a while since I have worked in any of these sites around 7 years. so any help is welcomed. thank you
