Site pages blank aprt from homepage, weird source code

Looks like you’re getting the host’s default parking page. I don’t know that plug in so am speculating here, but sometimes plug ins like that mess with the .htaccess file and when removed, cause odd redirects. You can compare what’s in your htaccess with this:

If it’s different that could be the cause.
I’d also first try to contact the plug in developer/support to see if they can help.

Hi i checked the site and no .htaccess file, so created one with basic WP code

# BEGIN WordPress
RewriteEngine On ….

but got an error “The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration…”

am wondering if its not the fault of the plugin i deleted but that someone is playing sillybuggers as the site isnt really live and i received spam comments when all my comments have been deactivated. Not too sure what to do – reinstall wordpress from beginning and redo the site from scratch – thats alot of work!

Sometimes htacess is hidden by default and you have to change host settings to see hidden files. The htaccess would’ve been created when you installed WP. Delete what you added. Go to permalinks in WP admin, switch to default structure and save. That should recreate a valid htaccess for you. Then check it to make sure.

Now i need to stop all the pages except the homepage which is still ok from being redirected

No, I think that plug in changed your htaccess and you corrected it.

I am having a slightly different issue. Jetpack keeps sending me emails that my website is down, this one – JazzTrumpetLicks.com…

I know the server is fine, but I get a 403 Forbidden Error and entire blog crashes…

My only conclusion is that is has to one of the plugins I currently have installed….

Can someone tell me which plugin I need to deactivate if someone else is having the same issue?
