    My simple webpage has been going fine for 10 years, and recently all pages were mysteriously lost. I am not sure if a hacker used a plugin to wipe the site, but all pages are now gone. I flushed the cache, but nothing gets the pages back. Even my Envira gallery show as published, but they are also gone. It shows I have 16 pages total, and 13 published, but nothing is visible. When I try to build a new page, e.g. /test, the site says:

    The page isn’t redirecting properly

    Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. 

    This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

    I find it strange that the page URL is set to undefined in your report. Was that you or is it really there?

    You say that all pages are gone. Are they no longer listed in the backend? Or are they there and just can’t be displayed in the frontend?

    Do you have a backup that is still complete and contains everything? Your host can probably provide you with one.

    I cannot upload an image from my computer, and the Pages sections shows all of my pages published, but not listed. I do not know how to fix the undefined issue. I did not do anything to this site for years, and all of a sudden all pages are gone. https://ibb.co/yXSkNTq is the screenshot of the Pages, but there are no pages in it, and when I create a new one, they fail.

    That looks really strange. Try deactivating all plugins and activating a standard theme. If they are then visible, it was due to one of the deactivated ones.

    I am not the web builder, and can relay these items to him. He used the Nirvana theme about 10 years ago, and the site has been fine for the whole time until recently. I just deactivated all the plug ins, but I am not sure how to stop the nirvana theme and start a standard one? What is your suggested standard theme?

    Thank you so much! The site is now sort of back in the game! All of the pages are no longer lost, and I am slowly reconstructing it. spugnardi.com – I need to figure out how to bring the old theme concept back. Do you have any suggestions as to how to change the homepage? Should I try to modify the 2024 theme? Or try to copy and paste the old theme to it? This is a simple furniture site, so no commerce. I build stuff, not great at wordpress, but you are a huge help.

    Unfortunately, I can’t give any advice on this. It all depends on what you want to achieve and what your skills are. My recommendation would be that you simply try out what would be the best way for you. Just remember to always make backups so that you can take a step back if something goes wrong.

    You are also welcome to set the topic to solved once it has been clarified for you.
