Site running slow with 13.3.5.1

    Hi

    The recent update has cause my site to run slow. There was an issue with woocommerce update today too. Nightmare.

    So with the 13.3.5.1 update the server seems to be stressed out

    Load avarages up into the 4’s

    With Version 13.3.4

    Loads are down to the 1’s

    Load Averages

    1.201.721.29

    I had noticed that cache was being pre loaded by wp rocket even though cache pre load was off. Not sure if that is just lots of ppl on site but since going to 13.3.4 cache is not preloading like 15 product pages every minute.

    Understand this may be WP rocket issue but as i updated your plugin today and not wp rocket im assuming the issue is with your plugin.

    Hi @thecandleboutique, appreciate the heads up on this one.

    We’ll investigate WP Rocket in particular, it’s possible they’re picking up our new custom post type for some reason and trying to cache it. It doesn’t need to be cached.

    If you have any further info as part of your digging please do send it along ??

    Hi @thecandleboutique random question, are your feeds being added to a sitemap anywhere? WP Rocket tends to work off the sitemaps when working out what pages to cache preload.

    Just updated to 13.3.5.2.

    Server has low load so looks like its been resolved. Thanks so much.


    For what its worth i also use Simply Sitemap Pro too.
