Site running slow/completely down after automatic update

I am in the same boat! Ever since the automatic download, my site has been unresponsive or extremely slow. It’s driving me crazy!
What can be done?

I dropped my cache add-on folder and it is back up to full speed. I’ll just leave out the cache add-on til they resolve it, but that does seem to be the issue here. I was seeing the same exact thing.

Edit: back up to something, still slow because now it has no cache. But it functions at least.

I’m getting a similar inexplicable slowness since the past upgrade went through.

On the site in question it’s specifically hitting one page really hard the rest however do crawl compared to the speed we had before. As the system is hosted on a high end platform it’s performance makes no sense.

(and yes NOTHING other than updates has changed)

I see nothing on the database holding it back.
