• Hi,
    I’ve installed wordpress 3.1.1 from bluehost.com cpanel.
My site is loading slowly and when posting news it takes hours to do that..
I’ve contacted bluehost support and they told me it’s ok with other sites running on that share server. Only mine is taking hours to load..
Could you help me about this issue?
    Thanks

WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache are the best two I’ve seen. If you’re brand new, use WPSC. If you know what you’re doing, W3TC.

Thanks Ipstenu, I’m using W3TC now ?? and I can see the improvement.
What about SEO? Which one do you recommend? ??

I use W3TC because I have issues with WPSC and BuddyPress and because W3TC has minification built in.

SEO is handled by my well crafted and built theme. I’ve never used a plugin for it.

Not sure if anyone is privy to this information, but the multisite development project has only one commit assigned to it, and it’s a lot of work for that one person. For that reason, the multisite option is only optimized up to WordPress v2.9.

Jason, it would be helpful if you could mention WHICH plugin you’re talking about ?? We are discussing a few.

but the multisite development project has only one commit assigned to it,

In the early 2.9 days, the project was called wpmu and had only one *committer*. Is that what you meant?

becasue those days are long gone. Look at the wordpress trac for the multisite tag. Lots enough happening.
