Site scan fail and errors on any site

I’ve been using this plugin for as long as it’s been around, but for a few days now it doesn’t work on any of my sites, it generates errors, the site scan returns errors too.
I even enabled it on brand new sites without any other plugin, and I have the same issue, as soon as I run the site scan I get this error page “Failed to prepare AMP page” and have to disable and uninstall on each site ??
Incompatible with the latest version of WordPress?
