Site slow and image problems

Hi, I recently moved my wordpress site to GoDaddy. I have 2 problems in which I need help with.

1) How do I make my site faster?

2)How do I fix the broken images? Some images work, some do not. I ran a few queries and did the search and replace, but it fixed a few and broke a lot more.
