Site slow since update to WordPress 4.6

    These days, I use a combination of autoptimize and wp super cache. Together, they do an excellent job of speeding up client sites.

    When the hosts supports it, I also use PHP 7.

    Hello Steve,

    Thanks for the recommendation, I would give it a try but after knowing what is failing now. Before the last version of WordPress everything run smooth. I haven’t found any error in logs, so this makes it harder to identify why after the upgrade to version 4.6 everything is so slow.

    I am having the same issue my site https://trycoolbooks.com is running very slowly as well. and there isnt even anything on it yet. My admin dash is slow to take about 1 -2 min loading.
