Site Speed Optimisation

  • Hi Guys,

    I am using Go Daddy Managed WordPress for one of my sites https://www.wesprayanything.com/ and for the past few weeks I have been working on the site speed quite heavily, trying to increase according to googles guidelines on their speed insights page. I have managed to achieve a 61 for mobile and 75 for desktop; however this is not good enough as it direct affects ranks.

    Now GD managed word press do not offer CDN and my main issues with the site are the following
    Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
    Leverage browser caching

    Has anyone any ideas on how to achieve these on a GHD managed WP site

    You can’t have both rev slider and not have JS & CSS “above-the-fold”.

    “Above-the-fold” is almost nothing but CSS and JS b/c that’s what the Revolution Slider is.
