    Greetings,

I have a question about what this means. I’m seeing this in my site stats via the Statpress plugin, and I’ve checked that plugin’s support forum which appears to be no longer active so I’m posting my question here.

Hits to my site from a single IP source (I know the source, it’s not a bot or spider but a real IP) show up as arriving/visiting “/home-2/feed” on my site. This shows up in the area telling me which pages were visited. It’s clearly an automated feed process since the hits are listed at regular 30 minute intervals.

The thing is I don’t have an RSS button available on my site and this type of visit has only ever shown up via robots/indexing agents, and then this particular IP address. I visited my own site to do some work on it from the computer the IP belongs to (not my own). I’m sure I closed out of the window at some point, but it’s still feeding into my website (I definitely didn’t add my site to an RSS list from the computer).

Can someone tell me why this is happening? Is there some kind of software installed on the computer I was using that automatically adds visited websites to an RSS feed? I’m asking because I thought my browsing history was private when using the computer and I’m now worried that everything I visited was added to some kind of feed, visible to the computer’s owners.
