site stats has gone unreliable

  • I am using site stats for almost 2 years now.
    Recently with version 3.4 and 3.4.1 the site stats has gone unreliable.
    For a couple of weeks now almost every day:
    the “views today” suddenly stops counting and are not the same any more with “total views of posts on your blog”.
