• I’m not sure if this is only for admins or for our users as well (we’ve had one user complain about this, but it might be a separate issue).

    Our site may or may not load if you are logged in as an admin. I just got through logging in, and was able to click a couple of pages in the admin section, then the site stopped responding. I tried to view the site, and I got an error saying the site is down. I can, however, view the site without any problems on another browser. But again, after logging on in the other browser, I eventually get a message saying the site is down again. But it’s not, as I can view it on a third browser. After some time passes, I can then view the site again.

    What is going on?

  • Have you tried:
    -deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    -switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    if it were a theme or plugin, wouldn’t it affect each browser instead of completely being fixed if I go to a different browser?

    After some time passes, I can then view the site again.

    Have to talked to your host about this?

    Where does this message come up? Is it a pop-up?

    It is not “fixed” when you go to a different browser. Every time you go to a new browser the results are the same.

    Hmm, the host idea is a good one as we just did switch to a new host, and we hadn’t experienced this before the new host.

    The message comes up through cloudflare.

    Well, when switching to a new browser, I don’t experience the same issues (for an undetermined amount of time). But yes, I guess calling it ‘fixed’ is a small stretch.

    I’ll check with my host and see what they might be able to tell me.
