• I am trying to figure out how to get my site structure like I want it:

    * site home page a€“> ecrosstexas.com/home/
    * site page a€“> ecrosstexas.com/pageslug/
    * blog home page a€“> ecrosstexas.com/blog/
    * blog posts a€“> ecrosstexas.com/blog/YYYY/MM/DD/slug/

    Any ideas?

  • Hmmm.
    for site home page – why do you need home? Wouldn’t be enough ecrosstexas.com?

    for 3 and 4 if you install your blog in a folder named “blog” under the root – you’ll have exactly what you want (if using nice permalinks)

    if the “Pages” are created with WP, they will reside in ecrosstexas.com/blog/pageslug

    Maybe if you are a .htaccess expert you can write some custom rules to have the Pages where you want. I am not ??

    That’s the thing. I really want the “pages” and the “blog” to live at the same level.

    I don’t want pages under the blog heirarchy.

    That’s illogical. Since the Pages are created with the script living in the “blog” folder… they should be there ??

    Illogical as you may think it, this is what I want to accomplish. Can anyone offer advice here?
