Site Structure – Parent & Child Pages
-
I have a 10 page website for a small business who provides cleaning services for carpet, tile, stone, upholstery, etc. Currently none of the pages on the website have a parent page. However, one of my main menu items is “services” and under that are pages for each type of service they offer. “Services” does not link anywhere – it’s just there to keep the menu organized.
For SEO purposes, I think I should have the URL structure be something like https://companyname.com/services/carpet-cleaning. Is there a way to do this without having to create a separate page for services? Or do I need to have a service page for better SEO?
Thank you!
Jennifer
