I have wordfence installed on several blogs, all bar one of which show new versions of wordfence as available, or auto update.
But this site still has version 6.3.22, and does not show new versions as available. It does have the ‘Update Wordfence automatically when a new version is released?’ box ticked.
If it was any other plug-in i might uninstall and reinstall – but being security i’d obs prefer not to leave it exposed, or have to go through the learning mode again.
Is there any other way of forcing it to recognise a new version is available?
    thanks for any help.

    Hi @gibbsyns3
When you go to (WordPress Dashboard > Updates), aren’t there any plugins listed under “Plugins” section on that page? also, on the (WordPress > Plugins) page, could you please share a screenshot with that part showing “Wordfence” plugin on that page?

    Thanks.

    hi wfalaa

sorry i missed your reply here.

i found out the cause. my fault entirely. i had inadvertently set a ‘nag hide’ plug in to prevent wordfence showing update notices – my fault – apologies.
