Site suspended due to script affecting php.file

  • My WP website was suspended last night by 123. This morning they gave me this reason:
    “Following our Live Chat conversation earlier today, I have now unsuspended the website. Please allow up to an hour for the changes to take effect.
    The reason that your website has been suspended is due to a script that takes more than 2 minutes to run and is affecting your index.php file.
    I am afraid that I am not able to identify this script, however, I recommend contacting a web developer to solve/remove the script in question. Otherwise, the website will be suspended again.”
    As a newb, this seems disconcertingly vague. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix the issue. Many thanks.

  • Things to try:

    • Installing the p-3 profiler plugin to see if you can identify an issue with one of your plugins
    • Run your site through some site performance checkers such as Pingdom and Webpagetest to see if you can see which resource is slow to load
