• Let’s see if I can explain this correctly.

I decided to change my site from www.ads-software.com to squarespace.com (which, is not the topic of discussion). I mapped my domain via Dreamhost, which I always have used, and everything seems to have turned out the way it should. The new site works perfectly in all the browsers I have tried it in (both Windows and Mac), except my own Firefox, which I have been using the wordpress-admin with.

If I enter my site https://www.christinefagerbakke.com through Firefox, this error comes up. But apparently only in my Firefox browser. If I try to enter the regular wordpress-admin, it just says that they couldn’t find the site, which I guess is fair enough.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact the webmaster/ tech support immediately to have them rectify this.

    error id: “bad_httpd_conf”

Can anyone help me at all? I was slightly over my head when I started this – but now it has really gone beyond that.

    THANKS!

    C.

  • Within your database you will have paths set by plugins to the old URL, also check via FTP for any .maintenance in the top folder level and remove them ie. public_html/.maintenance
