site title and site description

    Hello,

    I would like to know how to make the site’s title and site description work in the meta> home page section.
    must a tag necessarily be inserted? if so, what is the configuration of the site to customize?
    if not, can we freely write text in the title and description part because it does not work (I did it 10 days ago and on google it automatically selects content from my site)

    You are welcome to use tags or freely write your own title and description.

    It is up to Google to re-index your site and reflect these changes.

    ok so if I want to freely write something, I must choose an option from the list above or keep the choice “insert tag” ?

    Just type the text you want to display in the Title and Description fields.

    These field values determine the Title and Meta Description on your site.

    The Insert Tag dropdown has nothing to do with this, and there is no requirement to choose an option from its list.
