Site title appearing in search results

Under search appearance -> content types -> I have entered only “title” both under posts and under pages.

However, many of the pages/posts appear as follows:
title – site title

In the source code the title appears as follows (i.e. without the “site title”).

Where is the site title coming from?

I am using the Genesis theme if it is related.
