Site title disappears in header dependent on browser width

    Hi,

    The site title is shown in header when I have my browser maximized on my monitor which is 1920 px wide.

    I noticed that when I narrow (reduce the width) of my browser, and when the primary navigation menu is replaced by the mobile menu icon, the site title disappears.

    Then if I narrow my browser further, the site title reappears.

    Similarly in Customize > Header > Site Identity, in Desktop view the site title is shown, in Tablet/Mobile view the site title is not shown.

    Similarly in browser > Inspect element > Simulate devices if I eg pick Surface Duo then the site title is not shown.

    This is the first theme that I have used that does this. I am not sure if it is intentional.

    I tried very hard to find anything in Customize that would control this and didn’t see anything.

    I searched your docs and search this wp.org Support threads for “title” and did not find anything.

    Please help.

    Hi, I created a fresh WP install online to demonstrate this issue.

    BTW I also get this issue when I do a fresh install of WP on Local by Flywheel. In case you would like to try to reproduce it that way.

    From Customize > Header > Logo > Logo Layout have you select “Logo & Title” for tablet view? https://ibb.co/vvzR4f2

    Hi,

    Thanks – That fixes the issue.

    I am new to the theme and so I did not know these settings were there.

    It looks like the default settings for both Tablet and Mobile are to have nothing selected.

    I would like to suggest for your consideration that a default like “Logo & Title” is selected for both Tablet and Mobile….
