Site Title not showing for transferred posts / pages

    I just used this plugin to migrate Genesis SEO settings on my site to Yoast. My custom SEO page titles were transferred over, but now they won’t show the separator and site title after them, regardless of what I try.

    The output in Yoast is properly set to %%title%% %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%.

    Pages that never had a custom page title *DO* show up just fine (with the separator and site title). Using Yoast’s “Enable force rewrite titles” does not resolve the issue either.

    I have many Genesis sites I wish to fully convert to Yoast and this plugin was supposed to make it easier.

    Correction: When I stated “Site Title” above, I meant “Site Name”. Hope I didn’t throw too many people with that mistake.

    We’re thinking about trying this plugin for the same thing – moving Genesis SEO settings to Yoast. Did you get it to work? Do you have the free or paid version of Yoast? And which version of Yoast are you using?

    I have the free version of Yoast. Unfortunately, I never did get it to work the way I was hoping it would. I’m not even sure it’s a bug — Yoast just doesn’t handle things as easily as Genesis does.

    So the workaround is that you’ll have to manually check and update each page/post where you set a custom meta title in Genesis if you want the site name in there. It’s a lot of extra work, but I guess it’s worth it if you want the additional features Yoast adds (which are nice).

    I was using Yoast SEO and migrated to All in One SEO. I am using the free version of Yoast SEO and All in One SEO.

    I can successfully imported the SEO Description, but cannot import the SEO Title.

    How to solve this?
