I just started a WP site and was trying out different themes to try to figure out which one would fit my needs. The last one I tried gave me the following errors mesages:

Warning: fopen(/home2/andreari/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/Colorway Package/style.css) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/andreari/public_html/blog/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4339

Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home2/andreari/public_html/blog/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4342

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home2/andreari/public_html/blog/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4345

I ignored the warning and activated the template. (Big mistake.)

I then got the following message:
Opps..You Have Modified The Footer Links..
This Theme Is Released Free For Use Under Creative Commons Licence. All Links In The Footer Must Remain Intact AS IS. These Links Are All Family Friendly And Will Not Hurt Your Site In Any Way. Please Appreciate These Supporters Effort In Providing You This Great Theme For Free.
Please Follow These Steps To Restore The Footer:

Please open the default folder, you’ll find footer.php inside
Copy, paste and overwrite it on the theme root folder to replace the one you’ve modified.
Finally, refresh your page HERE to go back to your homepage.

The only problem is, I can’t go to anything on the site to try to change templates or correct the error without that message popping back up. I’m totally stuck. The ironic thing is, all I did was upload the template…no modifications to the footer at all. I have no idea what to do!

I figured it out. I finally found the WP folder on my hosting site and deleted the template which reverted it back to a default template. Guess I got a little panicky there. ??
