    Hi,

I know Goran is a childtheme of Edin. Can I somehow have the full width for the whole site of the Edin theme in the Goran theme instead of the (small) bars that are now on either side of the site in the Goran theme?
Currently “Full width” doesn’t seem to be truly full width with those vertical bars on either side.

    Thanks!

  • Hi @sheriziya!

Modifications like this can in be done with custom CSS – but they can involve a fair amount of work/code to set up, as you’re essentially undoing a lot of the modifications that went into the creation of the child theme in the first place ??

The first thing you’ll need is a way to modify your site’s CSS – one easy option is to install and activate the Jetpack plugin and turn on the Custom CSS module.

Once that’s done, add the CSS at this link:

That should replicate the full width look of Edin, and account for the different screen sizes your visitors might have ??

Thanks, Chad! I’m sorry, I totally forgot to respond to this.

    Glad it helped! ??
