    Hi there
    I’m using translatepress (with italian main language and english secondary) and woocommerce. My problem is that, on language switch, the “custom links” in the navigation menus are “translated”:
    – switch IT>EN: ok, urls are not translated
    – switch back EN>IT: wrong, url are translated from “…/en/product-category/…” to “…/categoria-prodotto/…” and result is 404!

    Links in menu are: …/product-category/…

    Am I doing something wrong with settings, maybe “Force language in custom links” setting?

    Hello,

    Make sure you have pretty permalinks enabled and working. https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/using-permalinks/#using-pretty-permalinks
    You can try to resave them from WP Dashboard –> Settings –> Permalinks.

    The 404 error is treated also on our troubleshooting page -> “404 error when accessing a translated page” section: https://translatepress.com/docs/troubleshooting.

    Also, does this issue appear when you have Force language in custom links turned off?

    thanks for the support! Yes, permalinks are enabled and working and “Force language in custom links” is “no”.
    I already tried to regenerate permalinks with no luck…
    BUT I have just edited the “Category base” and “Product base” in permalinks -> additional settings (writing them in the main language) and everything seems to work correctly now…
