Site Vanishes (Temporarily?)

  • Hello,

    I’ve been working on a site located at https://www.johnsixthirtyfive.com. Twice now, I’ve been in the process of making updates when gradually the responsiveness within the admin area gets slower and slower with the ultimate result being that I can no longer connect to the site.

    The feedback message I received was as follows:

    Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.

    Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.

    So far the site does seem to come back after a while, but I really need to get a large chunk of work on it today.

    Advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • First of all you can verify if it’s a function that comes with one of your plugins or theme that causes this. This means you’ll have to disable all plugins and switch to twenty eleven check if the issue still exists if not: reactivate your theme test again then enable your plugins one by one until you find the problematic one. if none of them are generating issues then contact the hosting company
