    Crank01 – Thanks for reminding me, I restored everything and was able to log in and everything was like it was before I tried to move anything.

    Govpatel – I tried again using both your video and watching several others, which all use the same basic instructions and now I’m getting this crazy error:
    Warning: require_once(/data/21/2/19/120/2019120/user/2209776/htdocs/wp-settings.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /data/21/2/19/120/2019120/user/2209776/htdocs/wp-config.php on line 90

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/data/21/2/19/120/2019120/user/2209776/htdocs/wp-settings.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/services/vux/lib/php’) in /data/21/2/19/120/2019120/user/2209776/htdocs/wp-config.php on line 90

    Anyone know how to fix that?

    Thanks!!

    Looks like you have not moved all files recheck where you had all files folder before you moved them some host have them on 2nd page.

    Well, that was definitely part of it! I copied the 2nd page over, however, now nothing works. My login page opens, but I can’t log in and my site doesn’t work

    And when I try to log into my admin, instead of modernmail.com/wp-admin, I get this craziness: https://modernmail.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%253A%252F%252Fmodernmail.com%252Fwp-admin%252F&reauth=1 and it won’t let me log in. Any suggestions?

    Using ftp rename plugins folder to deactivate all plugins and create a blank plugins folder and then try logging in.

    If you can log in then go back in ftp and delete the plugins folder you created and rename the original back to plugins
    activate one plugin at time find problem plugin and reset your permalinks

    I just tried and it didn’t do anything, I still can’t log in and the site still doesn’t come up. I tried to get to the site from my phone and I got an error message that said that I had too many re-directs. Does that mean anything?

    Thanks

    Turns out it was a problem with my .htaccess file. Now it works.

    That is why I siad in my post to reset your permalinks as it rewrites .htaccess file.
