Site Wide Banner

  • I have been using the Virtue theme for a few of my websites and love the layout and the usability. I have one question related to the Site wide banner option that comes with the Virtue theme. I like that the Site wide banner scales to size when using any device instead of zooming in on a portion of the image like the header background image does. My question is, is there any way to get the site wide banner image to change on certain pages. Not every page will have a different image, but I would some of them to have a page appropriate image attached to them. Any help with this would be amazing. I have tried using CSS to change this, but it’s not working for me.

    This wouldn’t be something you could do through css. You would have to use a child theme to control this. How familiar are you with editing through a child theme?

    I found a work around and placed a fixed image in the sitewide banner, but a new problem came up. We put our logo in an image for the sitewide banner and then used the background image in the theme options for an image that would be able to change from page to page in the CSS. It was working yesterday, but I noticed this morning that there was an update for the Virtue theme and that option was now changed. Now when I go into the CSS and tell the image to change via page ID, it now won’t. Any help with this would be great.

    I have also been experiencing some issues with CSS not working properly with the new theme update. Some of my CSS that I had working just fine yesterday before I updated is now not showing.

    I was able to figure it out. There were some things on my end that I was doing wrong. Keep up the good work Kadence Themes, this theme is very good and fits exactly what we are looking.
