Site Will Not Load

  • I’ve uploaded the wordpress file in both of the htdocs folders. I set up my WordPress (Sitename/username/password). But when I changed the site url to my purchased domain name, Everything takes me to a 404 error page.

    If so then you need to now login to your database and update the blog and site url in the options table. Here is how https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL

    You might want to contact your web host if your not sure about the database part. If that is not what you meant when you say you changed the name please be more specific as this is a simple issue to fix once we know what exactly you did ??

    well I really do know WordPress and loading it is a piece of cake, I can say I have loaded hundreds without an error… but please clarify what you are trying to say here so we can help you ??

    try listing in order what you have done.
