• I run WordFence on several websites all hosted on the same server and all but one of them will scan fine. The blocking functions work fine. The only difference is that site that will not scan has a domain name that begins with a number (5minuteconsultant.com). I’ve been trying different things for several months (uninstall/reinstall, etc.) with no luck.

  • Hello capsrock,
two things we can check to see if we can get any further to an answer.

    1. Try running the scan with a browser console open and see if you get any javascript errors that might point us in the right direction.

    2. Check your servers error logs for any [error] lines in there that could possibly be related.

Please share any relevant results here (you can blank out any identifying information such as root paths if you wish).

I didn’t see anything in the console or error logs however this showed up in the WordFence Live Activity box: Scan terminated with error: We received an error response when trying to contact the Wordfence scanning servers. The HTTP status code was [502]

    Hello again capsrock,
if you check the Wordfence Diagnostics page under “Connectivity” does it look like you are able to connect to Wordfence servers?

Yes. Both have green check marks and OK next to them (http and https).
