I’m trying to remove the “share this” buttons that appear on half on my sites pages. Looks completely unprofessional. According to the webs, I need to disable the buttons on the Marketing page in WordPress. However, my site won’t appear in WordPress. I deactivated/re activated as per the troubleshooting I could locate. I tried to manually add in WordPress.com but it just offers to help me with my “new” site. How do I get all my sites (this isn’t the only one missing, and I have Jetpack on all) to show in WordPress?
p.s. WordPress troubleshooting said to contact Jetpack. So please don’t just tell me to contact them.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there,

I’m trying to remove the “share this” buttons that appear on half on my sites pages.

In block-based themes, the sharing button option is activated by default. You can disable it by going to WP Admin > Jetpack > Settings > Sharing.

    The direct link is https://pegasusrealm.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack#/sharing.

Can you try toggling th Add sharing buttons to your posts and pages option to OFF?

    That should remove the buttons.

However, my site won’t appear in WordPress.?

I think you mean your site isn’t showing up in the WordPress.com Reader? Is that what you’re saying?

I do see it here: https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/142150393

Please note: Since you are using a free Jetpack plan, your posts will not appear in the Posts search results in the Reader. You can consider upgrading if you’d like the posts to appear in search results. For now, your site will only appear in the Sites search results.

Please let me know if I’ve misunderstood something!

    Thank you,

You, absolutely, deserve a high five. Thank you. I don’t know why the interwebs couldn’t find that for me. And I when I log into WordPress.com it shows a few of my domains on my account. I think the issue is my hosting company has me on like three accounts (I just saw this). So I’m guessing my site accounts, and jetpack accounts-even though I log in on the same email address-is jacked some how. I’ll look into it farther. The share buttons where what were killing me. If you happen to know why my mobile burger menu is inoperative on only one page, you’ll be my fav forever ??

    Hi there,

So happy I could help you with the Share This issue!

If you happen to know why my mobile burger menu is inoperative on only one page, you’ll be my fav forever

I would love to be your fav forever! ?? Unfortunately that doesn’t sound like it’s related to Jetpack in any way, so I wouldn’t be able to advise. I would suggest opening a new thread in the WordPress forums and see if anyone else has had a similar issue. Be sure to include details about the exact page where it isn’t showing up

    Good luck!
