Site won’t display suddenly, can access Dashboard

    Issue: Blank page in both FF and IE when trying to access the site

    I have access to the Dashboard but in the middle of building my site, it has suddenly disappeared. I’ve tried deactivating ALL plugins one by one and it didn’t fix the issue. I’ve also tried accessing specific pages without any luck.

    I am having some FF issues at the moment so I tried IE but I can’t open in that either. Does anyone else see the site or have any suggestions?

    change to the default theme.

    What happens if you try the Default theme?

    Have you checked your web server’s error logs to see if anything useful is in there?

    Thanks for the replies, sorry I didn’t get back here right away.

    It turns out that somehow the main index.php (in the main WP directory, the one that tells the theme to load) had suddenly gone blank. There was nothing in it at all. I didn’t touch it so I’m not sure how it happened. I hadn’t upgraded WP any time immediately prior to the issue so I have no idea what caused it.
