Site works. But there are still many old entries.

    1) In order to understand better how “Better Search Replace” plugin works, i am showing this thread i created https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/website-com-needs-test-website-com-subdomain/

    2) Manually replacing https://test1.alfasteel.pt & https://www.test1.alfasteel.pt with https://alfasteel.pt & https://www.alfasteel.pt breaks the whole site and makes the theme look like it hasn’t been worked on.

    “Better Search Replace” plugin did the job but there are still many entries with https://test1.alfasteel.pt & https://www.test1.alfasteel.pt
    If i change these manually, the sites breaks as described in 2).

    I don’t like installing plugins, but as i was told, this plugin is optimized for WP, and it seemed to only change what was needed without breaking the site.

    My concern is that this entries https://test1.alfasteel.pt & https://www.test1.alfasteel.pt still exist in the .sql file but they seem to be necessary for whatever odd reason.

    Do i have any reason for worry?

    Is it crucial for all development to be done in public_html from the very begging to avoid this problem in the 1st place, or it doesn’t really matter?
