I’ve been trying to setup a domain mapping plugin on my multisite and I noticed that when I go to the admin toolbar to “My Sites”, instead of seeing each of the sub-domains listed below Network Admin, it repeats the main site name and address in each spot where the sub-domain would normally be listed.

Also, when you go to sites.php, clicking “visit” on each of the sites will take you back to only the main site.

I can still get to sub1.site.com/wp-admin and manage that site. When I look at My Sites, the sub-domain is listed multiple times, only linking back to itself.

I’ve already tried taking a few steps back and deactivating the plugin, but nothing is correcting this issue. Please help!

I have the same issue surface after i upgraded to 3.5.1, so thought they bonkered up something in that update.

However, I rolled back to WP 3.5 again without error disappearing, and also deactivated all plugins, including domain mapping. Still no joy.

    Culprit is found.

Do you use W3 Total Cache? An update was just released for it, after insalling this, things turned back to normal.

    faktanett,

Nice find. At first I had no change to the upgrade, then when I enabled w3 total cache, it fixed the bug. Thanks a lot for your help!
