    Hello @nabilahmad3034,

Using the Combine CSS and JS Files functionalities of the SGO plugin actually improve a lot the loading speed of your site. You can easily check that by disabling the functionalities under your WordPress dashboard.

Indeed, the combined CSS and JS files generated by our plugin are marked by Google Pagespeed as unused but this does not mean they are indeed unused. If we delete them, your site’s frontend will not load properly. The actual reason for Google to mark these combined CSS and JS files as unused is the very little coverage they have. This means that many of the CSS/JS files our plugin combined into this one file are not used on your site.

You can see that by disabling the Combined CSS files functionality of the SGO plugin and checking your site with Google Pagespeed anew. You will see that this time there are many more files marked as unused and their loading time is much longer than the loading time of the single combined CSS file generated by our plugin.

With that said, I strongly recommend keeping the Combined CSS/JS Files options enabled. Then you should check the other plugins installed on your site and delete the ones you do not use. If you need additional information on how to improve your site’s performance, you can post a ticket from your SiteGround account and we will be glad to assist you.
