Siteground users? How to customize their maintenance page?

    this is not a siteground specific but WordPress default maintenance page

    you can create your own custom page just place it under wp-content as a maintenance.php and WordPress will use that page during updates

    Oh, really? Was told something different by the support. On Plesk that one was defined outside of the WP installation so I thought it’s a generic server response. I’ll have a look. Thanks for your hint!

    That has always been a WordPress page. You can define custom error pages on your hosting account but that’s a completely different thing.

    On Plesk that one was defined outside of the WP installation so I thought it’s a generic server response.

    bcos you might have been using WP toolkit from plesk, it does have such an option
