    Hello there

    Sitekit on our website can’t finish the Adsense setup and asks for credentials to google account, once inserted, nothing else happens

    Thanks for reaching out @sonoconcerti. If you’d like to share your Site Health information I’d be happy to confirm Site Kit has placed AdSense code on your site, while also confirming at what stage your site is at with your AdSense application.

    We also have a guide on the plugin website that lists the different states that you may be in, with additional information for each status. It’s possible that your site is “getting ready”, which indicates it’s just a matter of waiting for the AdSense team to review your site.

    adsense_account_status: none
    adsense_site_status: none

    Based on this, can you share a screen recording of your experience. You can use a service such as Loom or RecordIt to share a screen recording, while using the same form previously used to share this privately.?

    Once we have the above, we can check this further. Thank you.

    Appreciate you sharing this recording. Very useful to see what’s occurring. As the message states an issue based on not granting permissions, let’s try something else. Please follow the steps below:

    1. Disconnect the AdSense module.
    2. Connect once more. During setup, when you’re requested to grant permissions, ensure all boxes are checked.

    Let me know how you get on with the above. If the same occurs, please share a screenshot or recording of what you see for your account at adsense.google.com.

    Note that I’ll also check this with the team, as during OAuth I don’t see any option for you to grant additional permissions. What you’re encountering may be related to your Google account and AdSense, as opposed to a Site Kit specific issue.
