Sitemap and expire

  • If the page is indexed in google and it is still up that is exists then it will not be removed . You have to manually remove it from webmaster tools and block it from robots.txt or using noindex meta tags .

    Thanks for your answer. I am actually referring to the case where the page is still indexed by google but no longer existing on the website.

    Then it will be removed itself you do not have to bother .
