If changing the Links Per Sitemap resolved the issue; it means your sitemap is getting cached. Please follow this guide to exclude sitemaps from the cache: https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

Please also add the following filter to your site: https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/#transient-cache

I increased the number of links in the sitemap to 301 links. The problem was fixed.
There seems to be some problems.

Increasing the number helped because it cleared the cache on the sitemaps.

Why is the sitemap slow? For example, I go to the WooCommerce product sitemap (only 270 links), it takes a few seconds to load. Isn’t this bad?
