    Hi,

I have noticed that our sitemap keeps changing the root domain to our servers IP Address instead of the actual domain?

To resolve this issue i need to constantly disable the sitemap and then enable it again.

Also in Google Search Console we now have 20000 backlinks from that IP Address.

Urgent help is needed as we may lose our Google Ranking because of this.

This issue typically occurs when the domain isn’t setup correctly from the WordPress general settings. Please, make sure that you’ve setup your domain correctly from the WordPress general settings -> WordPresse Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) options.

If your domain setup is correct, please try the steps given below:

Are you using any caching plugin on your site? If yes, please flush all the cache from the relevant caching plugin first.
Please, disable the XML Sitemap directly from the Yoast SEO -> XML Sitemaps -> General (tab).
        Please, clear the cache again.
Please, re-enable the XML Sitemap from the same option.

Please, check your sitemap to see whether the issue persists.
