    Rank Math planning to release a feature that allows sitemap editing at some point?

    I was looking at ways to customize the sitemap, by including localized sitemaps using “categories“ or “subdirectory“.

    I currently manage this manually by getting English posts into sitemap-en.xml and Spanish posts into sitemap-es.xml and creating my own sitemap-index.xml file (with the help of Screamingfrog’s sitemap generator). A bit tedious.

    We don’t have any plans to release the sitemap editing feature. You don’t need to create a separate sitemap for each locale. Your translation plugin adds hreflang tags to help search engines find the other versions of the URLs. You can also use the following filter to create custom sitemaps with our plugin:?https://rankmath.com/kb/custom-sitemaps/
