Sitemap Error

    The automatically generated sitemap is indexing pages that I don’t want it to.

    I have a sitemap which includes 7 other sitemaps. I just want 6 of them (as one is empty anyways).

    How can I exclude (sub)sitemaps from the website sitemap?

    Hello,

    You can set certain post types or taxonomies to not show up in the search results (and subsequently be removed from the XML Sitemap Index) by going to admin dashboard > SEO (sidebar) > Search Appearance, and setting the particular taxonomy or content type to not show in the search results.
