    Hi,

    my sitemap has problems:

Sitemap can be read, but has errors
    Unsupported file format
    1 instance
Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure that it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit.

However, it looks fine, at least to me, I don’t know whether I’m overlooking something.

Anyway, I have read many users blaming AIOWPS for this and I have disables the Firewall settings about Fake googlebots.

    No changes.
Can you please tell me what else I can do?

    Thank you
    Fabrizio

    Hi,

What happens if you disable our plugin completely? Does your sitemap work? If it still does not work, then you know our plugin has nothing to do with your issue.

    Kind regards

Hi there @mbrsolution thank you for your prompt reply.

I would like to do that, however, I don’t want to lose all the settings, at the moment strenght 350, including changing the admin login page, I don’t want to be kicked out.
What happens if I disable it?

    Thank you

    Hi,

What happens if I disable it?

You will not lose any settings upon deactivating AIOWPS – meaning you won’t need to re-configure the plugin again after you activate it again.

The plugin has built into it the intelligence to remove the security .htaccess rules when you deactivate it but it will still remember these settings when you re-activate the plugin, and as pointed out above, it will give you the choice to re-insert these rules back into the .htaccess file.

When you re-enable the plugin you will see the following message. Say yes to re-insert the rules you previously had set up in the plugin.

Would you like All In One WP Security & Firewall to re-insert the security rules in your .htaccess file which were cleared when you deactivated the plugin?

    Thank you

Hi, thanks, you had convinced me, I was about to deactivate it when I checked again GSC and I tried to simply remove the sitemap and upload it again: success!

So, nevermind, thank you anyway for your support ??
