Sitemap Errors

It would be helpful if you posted the URL that is giving the 404 error

This is the error that Google Webmaster Tools gave me when I submitted the sitemaps. There is a list of sitemaps:

The bottom 3 xml files do not exist and that is what is causing the 404 error.

I do not know enough about your site to say why they do not exist.

Please try and figure that out. Maybe they are out of date?

How are the xml sitemaps being generated – are you using a plugin?

These 3 sitemaps do not exist? How come they were created and how do I delete them?

When I click on the link, I get told by your site that they do not exist – try it yourself ??

As to how they were created, I do not know, that will depend on how you have your site setup.

XML sitemaps are not part of WP core, so the sitemaps are likely being created using a plugin. You need to determine that yourself.
