Sitemap Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag

We understand you get an excluded by noindex tag notice from Google Search Console. Let’s see what is going on.

For what URL did Google say this exactly? Was this for a post/page on your site, or for your sitemap itself? If for your sitemap URK itself, that is normal as sitemaps are not supposed to be indexed.

For the first 3 URLs, they are your sitemaps. Sitemaps are not supposed to be indexed and if you just submit your index sitemap with the steps found here: https://yoast.com/help/submit-sitemap-search-engines/ – your sitemaps shouldn’t be submitted to be indexed.

For your /index.html – it redirects to your homepage so that is just fine as well.
