    Hi,

I have tried deactivating all plugins, changing my theme to a WordPress default theme and re-writing my htaccess but still my XML sitemap is displaying as being empty.

    Any ideas why please?

    Thanks,

    Rory

    Hello Rory,

Thanks for reaching out regarding your sitemap.

We can also confirm that it is blank even on different web browsers; it is basically a white screen with no header, no links, nothing at all.

    A. We checked the sitemap source code and it’s strangely empty. If the sitemap source code is empty, you may have a static file, theme or plugin conflict. Please check for theme or plugin conflicts and, if no conflicts are found, FTP into your site to locate and remove any static sitemap files.

    B. The sitemap stylesheet at https://roryflynnwebdesign.co.uk/main-sitemap.xsl is not found. You should speak to your web hosting provider and confirm nothing in your .htaccess file is preventing it from loading.

    C. Do you use a caching plugin?

    D. Finally, please check the ‘WordPress Address (URL)’ and the ‘Site Address (URL)’. The URLs should use the preferred HTTP/HTTPS and WWW/non-WWW format that your site is setup to use.

Do let us know how it goes.
