Sitemap not generated

    I just setup the plugin in WordPress and then clicked on “show base sitemap”, but got a 404 page not found.
    In this archive I found a post suggesting to reset the permalinks, but unfortunately that didn’t help.
    So there’s no sitemap xml on my site whatsoever.
    What to do?

    Ps: I don’t have Yoast installed or Easy… mentioned in another post.
    There are basically no other plugins except insert headers and footers to put in the google tag manager code.

    Hello!

    We use a new type of sitemap generation. So, since TSF v4.0, all the posts on this subject are outdated.

    With that, since this system is new, I have no data on why it might not work. Do you have a link for us, so we can start investigating? Thanks!

    My site is at https://trellocards.com/TCO.
    In the meantime I installed another plugin that successfully generated a sitemap.xml in that location.
    So the sitemap you’ll be seeing there is not from your plugin.

    I found the issue: The sitemap doesn’t work on WordPress subdomain installations.

    I’ll see if I can address this for the next update: https://github.com/sybrew/the-seo-framework/issues/476

    Hi, I had the same problem that I couldn’t open my sitemap.xml page. But if I logged out of my website, then it works. You’ve probably tested it, but that’s a tip.

    Thanks for sharing your insights! I hope it’ll help others facing that issue. ??

    Now, the issue we have here is because I forgot to add a “case insensitive” check while working with mixed-case strings. So, logging out will work (which indicates a caching issue).

    The subdirectory in question ends with capital letters TCO, which explains this bug. I already have a patch ready, but I had to postpone releasing it due to personal circumstances.

    TSF v4.0.2 has just been released, and the sitemap should work with your site after you update to it! Cheers ??

    I’ve notice a detail that may be useful for some. My website is multilingual, with Polylang. And the a sitemap is generated on the fly for each language. So for example, in the spanish version of the site, the sitemap can be seen at URL/es/sitemap.xml
