Sitemap not showing pages, only posts

    Hello,

    I’m experiencing issues with the sitemap functionality. I understand that I can exclude pages, posts, etc by using the noindex checkbox.

    But all my pages, etc. don’t have noindex checked. Still, the sitemap only shows 2 posts.

    Is there a way to regenerate the sitemap? Or how can I get a proper sitemap?

    Hi there!

    First and foremost, please note that your website can’t be indexed. I’m not sure if this is intentional, but it seems like the “Sichtbarkeit für Suchmaschinen” is checked in:

    wp-admin/options-reading.php

    When that’s unchecked, search engines can start crawling your website.

    As for the sitemap issue, I can’t tell what’s going on, because of the problem mentioned above. But, please double check the “Einstellungen Robots-Meta” on the SEO Settings page. You should follow the warnings and instructions there numinously.

    Diese Einstellungen verhindert die Indexierung der ausgew?hlten Archive und Seiten.

    Only “Datum Archive”, “Suchseiten”, and “Medien” should be checked on most sites.

    Thanks for your quick response. This is what I learned:

    It was not checked. However, I am using Speed Kit, that might have had cached the website. I turned it off, but it only helped half way.

    But, please double check the “Einstellungen Robots-Meta” on the SEO Settings page.

    This was it!
    I didn’t realize there are more indexing settings beside the one in WordPress Settings -> Reading.

    It solved the issue.
