sitemap not updating

If you don’t see the sitemap immediately getting updated is because of the caching on it so we would recommend following the steps here for your performance plugin:

As I mentioned previously…I already excluded the sitemap from being cached…it is still not updating immediately. You can see in the page source of sitemap that cache request is denied by my cache plugin.

Hi @sub2assassin, I have the same problem. The sitemap is not updating even though the cache is disabled. Please, can you explain to me how did you solve it?

@lsponza can you share your website so that i can look into it when i have time…what worked for me is changing the sitemap link from 200 to a random number like 211 then saving it, that helps in remaking the sitemap page…after that go to settings > permalink > save settings…that will reset any permalink issues. you can follow this link: https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

Lastly make sure you actually have cache disabled because plugins like w3 cache i use…takes 3-4 settings to exclude the sitemap from getting cached. Hope it helps ??

@sub2assassin thank you very much for the very fast reply! I had already tried this workaround but it didn’t work for me.
