Sitemap not updating properly

Hello! There are several items on our sitemap that are not updating when things are deleted (particularly images) and are showing up as errors in Google Search Console. I have tried even excluding images from the sitemap altogether, and these URL’s still show up.
Examples of a few of the URL’s:
https://www.neovera.com/arrow-up-2/
https://www.neovera.com/bg-2/
https://www.neovera.com/bg21-2/Please advise on how to make sure the sitemap is matching up with live pages. Thanks!
